Body Health During Long Hours of Computer Work

Software has entered every field and job, and we either have to use it or do so for convenience to speed up our tasks.

However, working with various software often requires us to sit in front of a computer for long periods, constantly giving it commands and inputting data for storage. The issue is that sitting in front of a computer for extended periods will certainly have side effects on the body and eyes. Fortunately, there’s a simple and effective solution to this problem. Various software tools can assist you.

I personally use a software called EyeLeo. EyeLeo prompts you at short intervals—say, every 20 minutes—to look away from the screen, look around, or blink and exercise your eyes. At longer intervals—such as every hour—it asks you to stand up, move around, and do light stretches for your hands, feet, and back. Doing these simple exercises will help prevent discomfort in your body after working on the computer.
